How to Get Admission: Process and Entrance Exam Details

you have to complete entrance exam and qualify for the selection allocates seat to every public and private campus in Nepal. after completing entrance exam. You have to apply priority form to MEC Nepal then according to your Score card rank MEC allocate MBBS program to you and campus. MEC publishes notices to get admitted into allocated campus then after student get admission into campus. the steps are as follows 

To gain admission to a BAMS program in Nepal, you must complete the following steps:

 

Meet the Educational Requirements:

  • You should have completed 10+2 or an equivalent certificate in science (with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) with at least 50% aggregate marks.

Clear the Common Entrance Examination:

          Exam Structure: The entrance test is a single paper comprising 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into three sections:

  • English
  • General Science
  • Ayurvedic & Modern Health Science

        Qualifying Criteria: You must secure at least 50% marks to be listed in the merit list. Only the top  candidates from this merit list are selected for admission.

Application Process:

  • Fill out the online application form (typically available on the respective institution’s website or through the Medical Education Commission portal).

  • Submit all required documents such as academic transcripts, identification proofs, and recent photographs.

  • Pay the necessary examination and application fees as stipulated.

Counseling and Seat Allocation:

  • After the entrance exam results, participate in the counseling process conducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC) where seats are allocated based on merit.
